What's new in 2007 at MECP?
MECP Exam Pricing The easiest way to schedule MECP exams is through a Thomson-Prometric center. You can locate a test center through the link at the MECP website where you'll sign-up to take the exam and pay for it in as little as 10 minutes. Then you show up at the test site at the confirmed appointment time with two forms of valid ID and take the test. With this option, you locate the center and scheduling the exam on YOUR time. You are not held to a school or proctor's schedule and you choose a location that's convenient for you. Here are the costs for testing at Thomson-Prometric centers:
Alternative delivery methods for MECP exams are intended for the few exceptions where it is simply not possible to get to a Thomson-Prometric center or you have pre-arranged with a proctor (such as at an MECP authorized school or with a proctor who may be able to visit your shop). Since this alternative requires more effort for participants, there is a $25 discount on each exam. A full listing of available proctors and proctored test sites is available at the MECP website. Click here for that list. For more information about the different choices you have for MECP testing and to choose the right method for your next exam, click here for a short tutorial.
